
Vendors, such as textbook and software publishers, need to ensure that materials and instruction used in the educational process are universally designed to meet the broadest range of consumers. In addition to describing Universal Design for Learning (UDL), this brief outlines why customers want to purchase products that reflect UDL and what vendors need to consider when developing products that incorporate UDL principles.
