Senate Briefing: December 2, 2010

Senator Harkin’s office brought together Senate staff members and representatives of the National UDL Task Force to discuss how the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework meets the needs of all learners. An explanation of UDL was offered by Boston College-CAST Postdoctoral Fellow Dr. Patti Ralabate and the impact of district-wide UDL implementation was presented by Dr. George Van Horn on behalf of the Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation of Columbus, Indiana.
